The Angel Rides Program was established in August 2022 and began by offering parishioners rides to Mass and other church-sponsored events. Based on the need, the program was expanded to include parishioner rides to medical appointments. Today, this program is available to both parishioners and non-parishioners.

We began our partnership with Good Neighbor Medical Clinic in November 2022. Since the inception of our partnership, over 800 ride requests have been processed, significantly improving patient show rates at GNMC and contributing to a healthier Beaufort community. Together, we are addressing the social determinant of health related to transportation challenges, ensuring patients can access the care they need without barriers. This collaboration continues to make a meaningful impact by providing reliable transportation for medical appointments, strengthening our shared commitment to better health outcomes for all.

Through the Angel Rides Program we have also provided transportation for clients of Low Country Legal Volunteers and the National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI).
